New to Yoga?

If you are new to yoga we recommend the following options.

In Buffalo, beginners should start with the 6-week Intro to Yoga Course. This experiential course will introduces the fundamental poses focusing on the principles of alignment and breathing. It will build a solid foundation for your yoga practice, preparing you for both Vinyasa Level I and the vigorous and athletic Ashtanga Level I classes. If you would rather begin with a drop-in class that moves at a slower pace than the Intro Course, you can try our Iyengar Inspired Yoga, Yin Yoga, or even the Gentle/Restoriative class.

In Amherst the 2-hour Intro to Yoga Workshop, offered monthly will introduce the fundamental poses while focusing on the breathing technique and alignment principles that build a solid foundation for our Basic Yoga or Vinyasa I class.

Pre-registration is required for the Intro to Yoga Course in Buffalo and the Intro to Yoga Workshop in Amherst. Full payment must be received prior to the first day of class to reserve a space.
