CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Open & On-Going Class Descriptions
The following classes are open and on-going. They do not require registration. Students can begin with an appropriate class level at any time.
Basic Yoga
This slower paced foundational class will focus on the basics of yoga that will improve range of motion, strength, alignment, balance, endurance, breathing and reduce stress. For those with little or no Yoga experience. This is a class anyone can do and benefit from
Vinyasa Yoga
- Vinyasa Yoga, sometimes called Power or Flow Yoga, is a dynamic style
of yoga using sun salutations to link poses into a continuous flow anchored
by a powerful breathing technique called Ujayii breathing. Often described
as a moving meditation, it cultivates awareness, mindfulness, and presence
resulting in reduced stress. It is also a challenging alignment oriented
practice that develops strength, flexibility and overall balance in equal
proportions.
Vinyasa Level I - For those that have completed Intro to Yoga or Beginner Vinyasa. Prior experience recommended.
- Vinyasa Level I/II
- Builds on our own level I class. Poses begin to be combined and juxtaposed with more variety and challenge. Prior experience recommended.
Pre-Registered Course Descriptions
The following courses require pre-registration. Payment should be received prior to the first day of class.
Intro to Yoga 2-hour workshop
- If you are new to yoga we recommend starting with either our 2-hour
Intro to Yoga
Workshop or our 4-week Beginner Yoga Course, or both. Experience the fundamental
poses focusing on the principles of alignment and breathing. The Intro to Yoga Workshop prepares you for our Beginner Yoga Course. No experience necessary.

You may start at any time. Class passes may be purchased at the time of class. We accept either check or cash.
- The fees above apply to all of our open and on-going classes. Class passes can be used at the students’ discretion for any of our open and on-going classes at both our city and suburban locations.
- Class passes cannot be used for the Intro to Yoga Workshop which requires pre-registration.
- Full time college students with a valid student ID receive a 10% discount on class passes and COURSES. Discount not valid on single class or unlimited monthly.
- Experienced yoga students may begin taking classes at any time. If unsure of which class level and/or style is appropriate, please call the studio and we will be happy to advise you.
- Fees paid for class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
