My love for yoga was not immediate. In fact, I had quite the opposite reaction after my first couple classes. I came to yoga searching for a new avenue to fitness, health and wellbeing, and instead I found myself disconnected and unchallenged.  My outlook drastically changed in 2009 when I connected with a yoga instructor who changed my entire outlook on the practice, its benefits, and life as a whole. Reducing stress and increasing mind-body awareness through yoga has continued to fuel my passion and create a desire for more. 

After years of a dedicated daily practice, and with the encouragement of family, friends and that same yoga teacher/mentor, I received my 200 hour teaching certification through the Himalayan Institute and never looked back. I am deeply committed to continued learning both as a student and teacher.

The desire to share my love, experience and knowledge of yoga with others continues to grow each day. I believe we all need to find time to let go of life's demands, find our breath in the movement, and just be. Whether you are on your mat for 15 minutes or 2 hours, yoga is a gift you can give yourself every day, anytime, anywhere.

My teaching style (Hatha, Yin-Flow, Vinyasa, and Restorative/Gentle) is strongly influenced by the experienced yoga instructors I have been fortunate to study/practice with, and continues to grow through self-discovery in my own personal practice. Through my teaching I strive for students to leave their daily stress and tension at the door, find peace on their mats, and by all means have fun! At the end of a class, my goal is to have each student feel a sense of accomplishment, fulfillment and satisfaction in knowing that they have just done something wonderful for their mind, body and spirit.
